1985 — Massey Communications, Inc. was founded by former print and television newsman, Todd Persons as Todd Persons Communications (TPC).

1990 — Persons formed a professional partnership with longtime associate Carol Brinati.

1995 — The agency was re-named Persons & Brinati Communications (PBC).

1997 — PBC welcomed Harvey L. Massey, founder and president of Massey Services, Inc. and a valued client of the firm since 1986, as the new majority partner. The agency was re-named Massey — Persons — Brinati Communications (MPBC), and its headquarters was moved to Maitland, Florida.

2001 — MPBC President Carol Brinati left the firm to become director of communications for the Catholic Diocese of Orlando, which remains a client of the agency.

2002 — Former Massey Services Vice President of Marketing Bud Brewer was named President of MPBC.

2003 — The agency Board of Directors chose to re-name the agency MPB Communications to reflect its heritage, as well as pass tribute to its former owners, Todd Persons and Carol Brinati.

2007 — In November, the agency and its Board of Directors chose to remain consistent with the Massey Services brand and reputation. The agency name was changed to Massey Communications.

2009 — The agency moves its offices to 315 Groveland Street, Orlando, Florida.
