HARVEY L. MASSEY

Chairman of the Board

Harvey MasseyMr. Massey has owned and operated Massey Services since February 1985. He has over 44 years experience in all facets of the pest management industry. Prior to purchasing the Walker Chemical Company in Orlando, Florida, Mr. Massey served in senior management with two of the largest international companies in the pest management industry, Rollins, Inc./Orkin Pest Control and Terminix International.

Mr. Massey is an acknowledged leader in the pest management industry, having received the 1998 PCT Professional of the Year Award and the ICI/Pest Control Technology Magazine Industry Leadership Award in 1992. He served on the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA). He is a Past Chairman of the Pest Control Research and Advisory Board of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and was the first Chairman of the Professional Pest Management Alliance.

In addition to operating his business and serving his industry, Mr. Massey is a highly active and visible community citizen. In 2007, he was recognized by the "Orlando Business Journal" as one of Orlando's "Most Influential Citizens." He is a recent recipient of the Florida Hospital Foundation "William Trickel, Jr. Volunteer Award," in addition to being named the Orange County 2006 Citizen of the Year. He has also received the Leukemia Society's Service to Mankind award, the Jewish National Fund's "Tree of Life" award, Junior Achievement's "Spirit of Achievement" award, and has been recognized by UCP of Central Florida with the J. D. Holloway Star of Gratitude.

Mr. Massey has led a variety of community-based organizations including Florida Citrus Sports, the organization which hosts the Florida Citrus Bowl, and United Arts of Central Florida. On February 1, 2007, Mr. Massey was appointed by Florida Governor Charlie Crist to serve on the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority. Mr. Massey was Chairman of the Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs Task Force. For his passionate support for Central Florida arts and cultural institutions and for his leadership on the Orange County Task Force, Orlando Mayor Glenda Hood proclaimed October 18, 2001 Harvey L. Massey Day." In the November 2001 Edition of Orlando Magazine, Mr. Massey was named one of the community's 20 Most Powerful People. Mr. Massey currently serves on the Board of Directors Wachovia National Bank and is a member of the Corporate Council of the Economic Development Commission. In addition, he currently serves as Chairman of the Winter Park Memorial Hospital Fundraising Campaign. He is a former Board Member of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Dr. Phillips, Inc.

An ardent supporter of education, Mr. Massey is a member of the Rollins College President's Leadership Council, and has previously served on the Board of Governors of Stetson University and the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement. In September 2007, Mr. Massey was elected to the Board of Directors of the Pontifical Irish College, Rome.

In 1993, Mr. Massey completed the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management Program. Harvey and Carol Massey have been married for 44 years. They have three children, ten grandchildren, and live in Winter Park, Florida.

Lynne Frederick

President/CEO

Lynne FrederickAs President & CEO, Lynne brings her business and marketing insights, solid strategic thinking and creative problem solving to the Massey Communications team. She is dedicated to the agency’s values of integrity, innovation, creativity, teamwork, respect and responsible stewardship.

Lynne has held positions in senior marketing management, strategic planning, sales, direct response, advertising, product development, acquisition integration and research in numerous entrepreneurial and top Fortune 500 organizations.

She holds three Bachelor degrees from University of New Hampshire, earned a MBA degree from the University of New Haven, completed Harvard Business School Marketing Management and initiated her Ph.D. at the University of London.

Lynne has been active in community events and currently serves as a member of the Kids House of Seminole Board of Directors.

BUD BREWER

Vice Chairman

Buddy Brewer Bud leads the agency’s public relations and social media services division. In addition, he provides strategic marketing services and counsel for selected clients.

An award winning writer and broadcaster, Bud has been involved in mass media, advertising, public relations and strategic marketing in Central Florida since the mid-1970s. He joined the agency in 1986, but shifted his role to manage the marketing department of Massey Services from 1995-2001.

With a long and diverse volunteer history with local health and human services, and arts and cultural organizations, Bud currently serves as a member of the Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs Advisory Council, the Board of Directors of United Arts of Central Florida, the Board of Governors for Orange County’s Central Receiving Center, the Executive Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando, and the Steering Committee for Share Our Strength’s “Taste of the Nation” in Orlando. Previously, Bud served on the boards of the Orange County Human Services Council, the Heart of Florida United Way and the Orange County Membership & Mission Review Board. He also served on the Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs Task Force. He has been board president or chairman of UCP of Central Florida, the Volunteer Center of Central Florida, the Civic Theatres of Central Florida and Share Our Strength/Orlando.

He is married to Lynn Katz. Bud and Lynn reside in Winter Park, and have two grown daughters and three grandchildren.

ANDREA MASSEY-FARRELL

Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer

Andrea Massey-Farrell Representing over fifteen years of marketing, public relations and sales experience, Andrea leads the advertising services division and the agency's business operations. She is also a Certified Marketing Representative for the Yellow Pages Association, servicing yellow pages accounts, as well as planning and implementing yellow page advertising buys for the agency and its clients.

Andrea volunteers her time to organizations, such as the Children's Liturgy program for St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church; the Winter Park Library Board of Trustees; the Winter Park Memorial Hospital Women's Advisory Board; the Hamilton Holt School at Rollins College Advisory Board; the Orlando Shakespeare Theater Board of Trustees and Junior Achievement. She has served on boards of numerous organizations, including Morning Star School Women's Auxiliary, American Cancer Society's Making Strides against Breast Cancer Statewide Operating Committee; American Cancer Society Orlando Unit board; Advisory Board for Alpha Delta Pi at the University of Central Florida and the Greater Orlando Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association.

Andrea has been honored as agency Team Member of the Year. She graduated from Rollins College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational communication.

An avid sports fan, Andrea enjoys reading, dancing and spending time with her family. She resides in Winter Park with her husband, James, and their children Ethan and Edward.

LYNNE GARROW

Director of Advertising Services

Lynne Garrow Lynne oversees all aspects of media planning and placement in addition to servicing the agency’s advertising accounts. She works closely to negotiate the most efficient schedules and rates for our clients and secure value-added benefits, as well as maintaining a high level of account service for our clients. With more than 18 years of marketing, advertising and public relations experience on both the agency and client sides, Lynne has worked with health care, real estate, technology, service and hospitality-related clients.

Lynne serves on the Board of Directors of the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce, and has been awarded the “Outstanding Service Award” and “Rookie Board Member of the Year”. She lends her time and talent to the Steering Committee for Taste of the Nation and also serves on the Host Committee of the Evening of Valor for Jewish Family Services. She volunteers her time at Rainbow Elementary as a Dividend with Seminole County Public Schools and with Junior Achievement. In addition, she is a member of the Orlando Advertising Federation (OAF) and a graduate of Leadership Seminole.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Lynne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and a minor in English. She has been honored twice by the agency with the Todd Persons Award. She was the recipient of the Florida Public Relations Association Award of Distinction for Printed Tools of Public Relations and received a District Silver Angel Award.

Lynne lives in Oviedo with her husband Ken, and children Cameron and Nicole. She enjoys being a mom, spending time at the beach, shopping and home decorating projects.

LAUREN LEETUN, APR

Senior Account Executive

Lauren Leetun Self-professed as an expert of media monitoring tools, Lauren enjoys developing media contact lists, distributing press releases and analyzing media coverage for clients. With experience in research, copywriting and event coordination, she services an array of client accounts, including the restaurant, real estate, educational, construction and healthcare industries.

Lauren stays involved in the Central Florida community with board involvement for the American Lung Association and the Anthony House, as well as her community homeowner's association. She also attends the PRSA and Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce functions. Lauren is a graduate of Leadership Seminole.

Lauren graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida with a dual degree in public relations and political science. While at the UF, she worked with a local mentoring program and the university's biannual career showcase. Lauren has been named the agency's Team Member of the Year and also honored with the Todd Persons Award.

In 2008, Lauren married her husband Rob and together they parent the 'four-legged love of her life,' black Labrador Jackson. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with friends and family, being involved in her church, reading, traveling and working out.

SULTANA F. ALI

Account Executive

Sultana F. Ali With professional experience in public relations, marketing and technical writing and over ten years of public speaking proficiency, Sultana works with PR clients within the professional services, construction, retail, service and government sectors. She assists with media relations, event planning, community relations, direct networking and TV production.

Sultana is a former national board member of the United Nations Association-USA (UNA-USA) where she represented the Young Professionals for International Cooperation. Currently, she serves on the board of directors for the Central Florida Women's Resource Center, FHSMUN (Florida High Schools Model UN) and Harbor House of Central Florida, where she serves on its executive committee as Second Vice-President.

Sultana has been honored with a Global Young Advocate Award from UNA-USA, the Central Florida Women's Resource Center Junior Summit Award, the Girl Scout Council of Central Florida's Young Woman of Distinction and was named one of Central Florida's "13 Shining Stars" by Central Florida News 13 and the American Red Cross. She also received the agency's Todd Persons Award. Recently, she was named as a Finalist for the eWomenNetwork Foundation’s Emerging Leader of the Year Award.

A Walt Disney Scholar and Florida Academic Scholar, Sultana graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Marketing and a minor in Political Science where she was recognized with the J.C. Aspley award and scholarship. She enjoys singing, rock climbing, adventurous sports and activities, and traveling.

MARISA CARROLL

Senior Associate

Marisa Carroll With over four years of experience working for Florida Theatrical Association/SunTrust Broadway Across America – Orlando as Public Relations Manager, Marisa assists clients with media relations, community relations, networking, publicity, special events and research.

Marisa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rollins College in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and a minor in Business Administration. While at Rollins, Marisa was the two-year Vice President of Public Relations for Kappa Delta Sorority, Social Chair for Rollins Players and involved in many other on-campus organizations and honor societies, including Student Government Association, Theta Alpha Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa, Rollins Dancers, WPRK and Student Involvement and Leadership.

Marisa enjoys being active in the community and has volunteered for many events, such as the Melbourne Independent Film Festival, Florida Film Festival and FPRA’s Image Awards. She is involved with the Women Playwrights’ Initiative, American Heart Association’s Go Red Girlfriends Committee and is active in the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and East Orlando Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, Marisa thrives on traveling, going to the theatre, dancing and spending time with friends and family.

CRYSTAL GETTINGS

Senior Associate

Crystal Black Gettings Crystal joined Massey Communications in 2007, as the second team member to receive the Massey Fellowship. She assisted with several public relations and advertising accounts as an Associate.

As a Senior Associate, she collaborates with team members and manages various accounts daily by strategizing, researching, writing, planning, coordinating and executing events. Crystal is particularly interested in business development, media relations, branding, social media, as well as crisis management and messaging.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising/Public Relations and a minor in Marketing from the University of Central Florida in 2007. While at UCF, Crystal was an active member of the Quotes club and inducted into the Tau Sigma Honor Society.

She served as the Silent Auction Chair for the Florida Public Relations Assocation’s (FPRA) Roast and Toast 2008, honoring Toni Jennings, and remains very involved in FPRA. She is a member of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce and also serves in different roles at the First Baptist Church of Winter Garden, including the communications committee.

Crystal is married and lives in Apopka. She enjoys staying involved in the community by volunteering her time for a variety of events and projects through her church, as well as local nonprofit organizations. In her leisure time, Crystal frequently visits with family and friends and enjoys kickboxing, dancing, swimming and reading.

ALISON PRESLEY

Office Manager

Alison Presley Alison has been with the agency for over 12 years. She oversees the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, while supporting the principals and staff with research and writing assignments.

Alison graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a minor in English. She remains active with her college sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi; as an alumnus, she has served as Past President for the Greater Orlando Chapter and PR and Philanthropy advisor for the Rollins College Chapter. She is Vice President for the Orlando Area Pan-Hellenic Association. She is also a board member of the Episcopal Counseling Center, where she offers recommendations to the Publicity Committee. In addition, Alison assists Agency President Bud Brewer with Taste of the Nation sponsorships.

An avid University of Alabama "Roll Tide" football fan, Alison enjoys spending her free time with her husband James, daughter Hallie, their dog, and by reading a good book.
